This programme teaches you the basics of meditation, and how to overcome any initial challenges you may face, as you build a regular meditation practice.
Sessions start with simple warm-up stretches that help you settle into a comfortable position. This is followed by simple breathing exercises, to help you increase your breath control and awareness. This drill helps you achieve a state of steadiness and focus, removing lethargy, and energizing the mind and the body.
A large part of each session is dedicated to practising simple guided meditation techniques, which help you improve awareness of your body, breath, and thoughts. They will also help reduce stress and anxiety, build focus and concentration, and improve emotional well-being. The idea behind practising multiple techniques is to help you identify the one that you relate to the most, and which you’d want to practice over a longer period of time.
