Once you sign up for the Yoga Class for Strength & Flexibility, our trainers will call you for a free consultation, to help you customize your classes, and pick the timings for your weekly sessions – multiple slots are available each day.
Sessions are relatively fast-paced, combining Hatha and Ashtanga yoga, and focusing on building your core muscles by using your own body for weight resistance. The session is designed to build strength in the abdomen, hips, and back muscles, and increase flexibility in the shoulders, spine and hips, aiding the efficient development of various muscle groups.
Active and intense postures help you burn calories and improve metabolism, which aids weight loss. Relaxation practice at the end of every session reduces stress, thereby helping to control stress eating. Postures practised in the sessions also help you manage problems associated with excess weight, such as heart disease and high BP
This programme helps to lose weight, build muscle strength, increase mobility, lower the risk of future physical injuries, and energize the body and mind.
